Welcome all. 50 years old - it's just not right I tell you, but unfortunately, 'tis true. 2010 will see Geoff and Keith slip into their 50th year as gracefully and elegantly copious amounts of food and drink with as many friends and family as possible allows.

 As you have now gathered, this spectacular stagger into the downward spiral of poor health, lack of agility and hair loss will take place on the rather nice island of Bali, in the beachside town of Sanur. The Island of The Gods, beautiful people and bars you can smoke in has become a favorite of mine in recent years, so after much thinking and to-ing and fro-ing of ideas, the thought of getting as many of us together as possible for this Very Special Occasion on the beachfront by the Indian Ocean with food, drinks and music is too good an opportunity for us to ignore. (Bali is also 8 degrees south of the Equator while England in early April will quite probably be cold, wet and full of people my age with old coats and hats on).

  All this is planned for the Easter break of 2010 with Easter Sunday 4th April, Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th, and Wednesday 7th being the main dates. We realise that this will take some planning for you (and us!) which is why we're letting you all know now, and hopefully this site will help with that planning. We'll update it with any bits of useful info we come across regarding flights and hotels etc. so add this site to your favorites and check back every now and then.

 During my last trip there in December, I arranged a few special prices for us at a couple of hotels and they can be found on the Accommodation page. I will need to make the booking for you, so let me know your dates.

  It is a very cheap place to eat, drink and stay - again, we'll update the latest average prices after this next trip.

 So, I hope this sounds as good to you as it does to us and we really look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
